Foundation for Sustainable Development in Africa (FSDA)

About Us

The Foundation for Sustainable Development in Africa (FSDA) was established in May 2005 as a Not-For-Profit Organization by a group of prominent Ghanaians and international citizens who are motivated in the various well meaning national and international initiatives and commitments about sustainable development in Africa and poverty reduction.

What the Foundation aims to do is to fill the need that national governments and the wider international community have for a more proactive and result-oriented approach to implementing well-meaning initiatives. It is inspired and encouraged by the World Summit for Sustainable Development (WSSD) commitments, the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDG) and the Poverty Reduction Strategies (PRS) of Sub-Saharan Africa.

The Foundation will operate through several field offices envisaged for Africa starting with the West African sub-region.
